Having been to Martha’s Vineyard as a nanny, I wanted to share the island with my son until we can get there some day. The book had many of the island’s characteristics and tourist spots portrayed. The illustrations are wonderful and capture the magic of the island.

Children who have experienced the magic of Martha’s Vineyard will love this board book. I know several and feel like I’ve found the perfect present for them. The book is a wonderful tour for tots across the island, from the colorful gingerbread cottages to the agricultural fair to an afternoon playing at the beach. I think Good Night, Martha’s Vineyard will delight children that have spent a day, a month, or more on Martha’s Vineyard.
