The book, Everything Writing Poetry Book is a practical guide for the beginning and a ready to publish poet. The best resource for where to send ones poetry. The text gives sound advice for the poet who wants to be published and is realistic about how little money is actually to be made in just selling poems. This book was more than I thought it would be. Check it out.

This book has been very helpful in my poetry writing. It helps you tap into your emotions with lots of tips such as creating a timeline of major events in your life.
Other tips such as using the 5 senses and how, what types of nouns are best, using the active or the passive voice verbs and more.
This is a good book to read with Complete Idiot’s Guide to Writing Poetry
