Writing is a very exciting and pleasurable hobby for many. It can be a way for some people to ease their stress. Short story writing is what most writers do. It is a short narration of a unique story that they wrote on their own. Every short story from different authors is unique. Readers can even find out the personality of the writer through his writings.
If we are planning to write our own short stories but do not know what the guidelines are, we have written them down for you to learn them better:
Every type of writing needs a lot of reading. One cannot start his hobby of writing without having the willingness to read also. It will require us a lot of reading at first. Some people who want to be writers only like the idea at first. The moment they do not know what to write any further, they stop. This is because they didn’t read enough before they begin writing. In any of the available writing courses, they will only teach us the concepts and proper ways of how to write. But the talent and all the willingness will only depend on how much we read. For example, if a person wants to try out writing about fiction, then he should read more on fiction stories. Schools and courses will never teach you on how to be inspired. How to Tell a Story
Storytelling is one of the oldest pastimes. Everyone loves a great story, but it is often difficult to find someone that is good at telling one. The best way to learn how to tell a story is to read books on the subject, such as “How to Tell a Story” by Peter Rubie and Gary Provost, or any other book published by Writers Digest Books.
